FALL TREATS

Remember back in the good old days when it was nice and warm out, and popsicles were a good way to cool down? Well I have good news for you- those days aren't completely over! I am incorporating one of my favorite fall drinks, Baileys Irish Cream, and making something pretty tasty with them.

I decided I didn't want the good days to die out too soon- so I decided to incorporate one of my favorite fall drinks, Baileys Irish Cream, in to something pretty tasty with them.

INGREDIENTS:
 - baileys irish cream
 - instant espresso - mix to packages directions
 - milk substitute - like almond, soy or rice milk
 - popsicle molds

INSTRUCTIONS:
1 :  you will want to make sure you wash your popsicle molds really well, and dry them out - any residual water will freeze to the molds.

2 :  in your Popsicle molds- mix 3/4 Baileys, with 1/8 milk substitute and 1/8 espresso

3 :  put the tops of your molds on, put in the freezer and freeze overnight, or at least 6 hours, until completely frozen

4 :  remove from molds, and enjoy!

COVER GIRL TRUBLEND REVIEW

I haven't always been big on make up. In fact, if I can get away with it in summer (and the older I get, the less likely I think I'll be able to get away with it) I don't wear any foundation at all. However winter is usually a different story, especially with the bitter cold of a Minnesota winter. I find myself feeling incomplete without the basics, which for me is usually just foundation, and sometimes the occasional colored lip gloss.

Over the years I've tried so many different types, but I have to sing the praises of the one that I love best (and I just replaced today since winter is coming) and that is, hands down, Cover Girl TruBlend Liquid make up. Now, it's been awhile since I've paid attention to the commercials since I'm now brand loyal, and don't need to be sold on it, so I don't recall what the promises are. But I do know it was worth sticking through the change they made in the last year, to a different numbering system. They transitioned well, and on those first few bottles had the old numbering along with the new, so I applaud them for that. If they hadn't done that, the product might not have survived the transition.

The greatest thing about it, is that I don't need a brush or any other applicator, I can just pump it into my hands (usually just one pump, sometimes 1.5 or 2) and rub it on my face and get very even coverage. And once it's on, I never even know it's there. It doesn't smudge, or look crazy if I rub my face. It just stays on. Or, if I have a kind of wild day, I like to think it rubs off gracefully. It is easily removed with make up wipes, and doesn't leave my face feeling gross. It always feels moisturized and clean.

Anyway, if you are in the market for some new foundation, I highly recommend giving this one a try. For the ease, the price, and the quality, it's definitely a winner.

What is your favorite foundation, and why do you love it? Let us know!

INSTAGRAMMERS TO LOVE!

I have become obsessed with finding the best of the best of all Instagram accounts out there. I love finding new accounts to get excited about. These are a few of the people that have my eyes popping out of my head with excitement lately!

1: Shopbando: If you have ever heard of or seen any of Ban.do's products, you will love their Instagram! A lot of behind the scenes, and a lot of fun.

2: Sugar and Cloth: The Instagram account is almost as good and as fun as the blog- almost...

3: Elsie Vaughn: This woman designs the most beautiful pieces of kids clothing!!!

4: House that Lars Built:  Again, the Instagram is a great sneak peek in to the fun things that happen over at The House That Lars Built

5: Christina Baker: Beautiful artist who makes beautiful (and colorful) paintings and takes beautiful pictures of the process.

6: Croyable: Fun photographer!

What do you think?

Any Instagram accounts you are enjoying lately?

FRIDAY CELEB CLIP FUN!

I'm always intrigued to see a celebrity that has been on the scene since they were very little, or just considerably younger. Lately clips of male celebs have been in my newsfeed, and they've been reminding me just how much these guys have changed. So of course, I'm sharing it with you! All videos are work appropriate, although Shia's story runs... kind of long for a story about getting drunk and arrested.

So here's some ok clips I've seen lately through my newsfeed. Oh, how the stars can change.

SHIA LEBEOUF: Seriously though, remember this kid?

Well now he's become this guy, who gets arrested outside of a Broadway show. But what I like most about this, is that he's not embarrassed to tell this story. Oh no, it's pretty evident that he or his handlers asked Kimmel to ask him about it. He wanted to tell this story. And tell it, he did. I was, surprisingly, quite mesmerized. Shia, I don't know what to think of you these days, but those were 7 minutes well spent for me. Just trying to figure you out.

CHRIS PRATT: Speaking of celebrities that we first got to know awhile ago, remember when Chris Pratt was on Everwood? Because I do. And I didn't even really watch Everwood. But if I did watch it, he was part of the reason why. I mean, who could resist this?

Now he's winning hearts and minds in both Parks and Recreation, and Guardians of the Galaxy. But most importantly, he isn't afraid to multitask in an interview. And it looks like he is quite skilled with his french braiding technique.

CHANNING TATUM: I just watched Step Up a few weeks ago, and forgot what a charmer he was a as a young man. With those street smarts, irresistible!

As it turns out, he's terrified of porcelain dolls. So naturally Ellen was able to find the creepiest ones in existence, and turn this segment into the hottest version of Maury's unique fears episodes that you've ever seen.

So I hope you enjoyed the laughs, the celebs, and the cute boys today on the blog, and have a delightful Friday everyone!

SAD DAY HAPPINESSES

Do you ever have those days (or weeks) where you just feel off? Well, that is me this week! I had a crazy event last weekend, and since then- I have been feeling a little off/out of it.

So, what do you do when you are down? Pick yourself back up again! One of the ways that do that is by snuggling with my Mr. and my puppy and drinking some delicious tea on the couch watching a show while we are all curled up in a blanket together- usually helps! But another way that I try to do that is by looking on the funnies section of Pinterest.

Here is what is getting me through!
What are your normal remedies to get you out of a funk?

Anything work particularly well?
